This is an alternating air mattress system which uses advanced technology to provide pressure relief and comfort, aimed at targeting those at higher risk of developing pressure sores. The Eclipse is comprised of 20 lateral deep air cells, powered by a pump unit, which alternate to redistribute pressure across the user's body. The auto weighing technology ensures the optimum level of air is pushed through the mattress but can be adjusted if necessary. There is a constant low air therapy setting which immerses the user into the bed, reducing overall pressure. Should you use the maximum inflation mode, the mattress will inflate to full capacity meaning the user can be moved or transferred with ease. This is a full replacement deep mattress, intended to be positioned on a profiling bed base.
